PAMA is pleased to announce that it has received an impressive turnout of over 1,300 applications for the Scholarship Program this year. Given the quality and depth of applications, we are extending our decision timeline to ensure every application is given the consideration it deserves.
Originally slated for the 22nd, our notification date will now be the 26th.
We recognize the importance of timely communication, and while individual responses to all inquiries are not feasible, be assured that each applicant will receive notification regarding their application status.
For those who missed this year’s deadline, I encourage your participation next year. Thank you for your interest in our program, and best wishes to all our applicants.
نشكرك على اهتمامك ببرنامج المنح الدراسية
تَسُرُّ جمعية PAMA أن تُعلِنَ أنها تلقت عددًا كبيرًا من طلبات الالتحاق ببرنامج المنح الدراسية لطلبة الطب لهذا العام، حيث فاق عدد الطلبات 1300 طلباً. وبناءً على ذلك، فقد قررنا تمديد فترة البت في الطلبات المقدمة لضمان منح كل مرشح الوقت المستحق للنظر في طلبه. حيث كان من المقرر أن يتم الإعلان عن نتائج المنح اليوم، الموافق 22 من أيلول لعام 2024، ولكن الموعد الجديد للإعلان سيكون في 26 من أيلول لعام 2024.

Welcome to the Palestinian American Medical Association’s (PAMA) Scholarship Program for medical students in Palestine.
مرحبًا بكم في برنامج المنح الدراسية لطلاب الطب في فلسطين التابع لجمعية الأطباء الفلسطينية الأمريكية (PAMA)
This program is designed to provide financial assistance to promising medical students who are committed to advancing healthcare in their communities. By supporting their education, PAMA aims to contribute to developing the healthcare system in Palestine. (يوفر هذا البرنامج المساعدة المالية للطلاب المتميزين في الطب الملتزمين بتقدم الرعاية الصحية في مجتمعاتهم. من خلال دعم تعليمهم، تهدف PAMA إلى تعزيز بنية الرعاية الصحية في فلسطين.)
Objectives of the PAMA Scholarship Program (أهداف برنامج منح PAMA الدراسية):
- Support Educational Goals: Assist students in overcoming financial barriers to completing their medical education (دعم الأهداف التعليمية: مساعدة الطلاب على التغلب على العقبات المالية لإكمال تعليمهم الطبي)
- Promote Healthcare Development: Encourage the growth of qualified healthcare professionals who are equipped to improve medical services in Palestine (عزيز تطوير الرعاية الصحية: تشجيع نمو المهنيين الصحيين المؤهلين الذين يحسنون الخدمات الطبية في فلسطين)
- Enhance Community Health: Ultimately improve the health standards and services available to the Palestinian population by investing in the education of future medical professionals. (تحسين صحة المجتمع: الاستثمار في تعليم المهنيين الطبيين المستقبليين لتحسين معايير الصحة والخدمات في المجتمعات الفلسطينية)
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have:
- Completed at least one year of medical school and
- Be in good academic standing with a cumulative average of 80% or a 3.2 GPA.
- Registered in one of the following West Bank Universities:
- Al-Quds University
- An-Najah National University
- Arab American University
- Palestine Polytechnic University
- Hebron University
- **NOTE: Applicants are not eligible if they have received scholarships from any other sources. Should it come to light that a recipient has been awarded another scholarship, they must refund the entire amount provided by PAMA and sign a declaration confirming adherence to this stipulation.
Only applicants meeting these criteria will be considered.
معايير الأهلية
يجب على المتقدمين أن يكونوا:
- قد أكملوا على الأقل عامًا واحدًا في كلية الطب
- في وضع أكاديمي جيد بمعدل تراكمي 80% أو 3.2 GPA
- مسجلين في إحدى الجامعات التالية في الضفة الغربية:

- الجامعة العربية الأمريكية
- جامعة فلسطين التقنية
- جامعة الخليل
- **لا يحق للمتقدمين الذين حصلوا على منح دراسية من مصادر أخرى التقديم. في حال اكتشاف أن المتلقي قد حصل على منحة دراسية أخرى، يتعين عليه إعادة المبلغ الكامل الذي تلقاه من PAMA وتوقيع إقرار يؤكد التزامه بهذا الشرط
فقط المتقدمون الذين يستوفون هذه المعايير سيتم النظر في طلباتهم.
