Gaza Strip has been at risk of famine and widespread poverty since the outbreak of the conflict. Access to food and water is scarce due to a combination of dire factors. The ongoing blockade has severely restricted humanitarian aid and food truck deliveries, leaving many without essential supplies. Simultaneously, food prices have skyrocketed, making it difficult for some families to afford even bread. The destruction of cropland further exacerbates this crisis, as most agricultural fields have been damaged and over 90% of livestock has been killed.

An article published by the UN in November 2024 reported that 1.8 million people are classified in IPC Phase 3 (Crisis). IPC stands for Integrated Food Security Phase Classification, a global index used to assess the magnitude and severity of food insecurity and malnutrition. This number is expected to rise to 1.9 million, meaning that 90% of the population could be in IPC Phase 3 or higher between November 2024 and May 2025 if the crisis continues.

PAMA has always been committed to helping the people in Gaza. Our responsibility is to provide them with necessities as quickly as possible. PAMA has previously supplied clean water, food, and essential supplies to thousands of displaced families, and we will continue to do so. This aid would not be possible without your donations and dedication to our cause. We encourage you to continue supporting us in fulfilling this commitment with your contributions. This fundraiser is at the heart of PAMA’s mission to promote and improve the health of Palestinians.
