Education Program – West Bank & East Jerusalem
In 2025, the West Bank’s healthcare system continued to face increasing pressure due to access restrictions, workforce gaps, and rising demand for specialized care. While the system remains functional, its long-term sustainability depends on a well-trained, adequately distributed, and resilient health workforce.
In response, PAMA’s education program focuses on strengthening human capital across the health sector, supporting students, residents, and early-career physicians through targeted academic and professional development opportunities.
By reducing financial barriers, enhancing clinical training, and enabling advanced specialization, PAMA contributes to building a sustainable, skilled, and locally anchored healthcare workforce.
PAMA’s education interventions in the West Bank are structured across the full professional pathway, from undergraduate education to advanced specialization.
This integrated approach ensures:
- Continuity of medical education
- Improved quality of clinical education
- Development of specialized expertise aligned with national needs
- Reintegration of skills into the local health system
